Project Prompt
In this project, we were asked to build a electromechanical module o train and entertain astronauts travelling to Mars!
This involved working with sensors, driving actuators, designing event-driven software, and implementing that software in C on a Tiva LaunchPad. The cost limit is $175.00.

Project Requirements
- Creative display of passage of time (no 7-segment displays)
- Led pattern lighting up full fire pattern indicating time has fully run out
- One interaction must be an Analog input
- Servo motor to rotate dial indicating if the user has achieved full depth of cut
- One user interaction should involve non-contact sensing
- Wave hand through a window when order is up
- POTATO must provide TATER with haptic/audio/tactile feedback
- Optional: Haptic feedback provided with knife rotation
- Speed of music playing increases as time runs out
- Plays bell sound when break is detected when order is up and user waves hand through window
- POTATO should involve at least 3 distinct TATER interactions
- Chopping ingredients
- Closing the oven door
- signaling the order has finished
- Provide indication of success or failure at the end of the game
- Music indicating whether a user has succeeded or failed
- Module should power into a welcoming mode to offer users an opportunity to explore.
- Device operates only with correct insertion of TOT, and returns TOT after session concludes.
- Beam break to detect TOT insertion
- Servo motor to retain TOT
